Today, Rovtech operates from two specialist sites in Aberdeen and Barrow-in-Furness, with a growing team and a commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.

In 2025, Rovtech completed the acquisition of the VALOR ROV business from Seatronics. With the addition of this advanced, field-proven platform to its offering, Rovtech is now uniquely positioned to deliver end-to-end solutions for inspection, intervention and monitoring, both offshore and within high-risk, high-integrity environments.

John Polson - one of the energy sector’s top young leaders - was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Rovtech as the business aimed to accelerate the global expansion of nuclear energy and offshore wind.
